These beautiful hand stitched Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt blocks were made by a family friend's aunt who was born in the late 1800s. I estimate that they were stitched sometime between 1930 and 1960, but there is no way to know for sure. There are plenty of feedsack and mid-century prints, and you will delight in discovering something new in every block. There are 128 blocks in this lot.
There are enough blocks to make one large quilt or several smaller ones. A perfect Christmas gift for the quilter in your life. Most blocks are simply the flowers themselves but there are about 17 that have been outlined in white fabric. They have been in storage for years and there are few stains or tears. See photos for complete details (each block has been photographed). The white fabric hasn't held up as well as the prints, some is stained and some is a bit yellowed. Size: Flowers are 9" wide, those that are outlined in white are 12" wide.
